steeped in history. Once bustling with
the movement of ship cargo and pirate
treasures destined for waterfront
warehouses.

In the late 1960s, the legendary band The Mamas and the Papas played at Sparky’s Waterfront Saloon and named their debut album “Creque’s Alley.” Today, this historic site has transformed into a vibrant hub featuring four diverse restaurants and a variety of retail spaces.

History of 29/30 Dronningens Gade. Creque’s Alley, part of the Historic Royal Dane Mall, once served as busy pathways for ship cargo to waterfront warehouses. Today, these historic warehouses house vibrant restaurants and shops. Named after Henry O. Creque, who purchased the buildings and alleys in 1905, the alley is rich in history and legend. The Creque family is rumored to have funded their ventures with pirate treasure found on Norman Island, adding mystery to the alley's past.
